Yokohama National University


Yokohama National University is situated in Yokohama Japan and was established in 1949. Since its establishment, the university boasts four undergraduate schools which comprise of Education and Human Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering and four graduate schools that include Education, Social Sciences, Engineering, Environment and Information Sciences.

The Yokohama National University is internationally renowned and has more than 10 000 students and 1000 faculty members. Of those 10 000 students, there is approximately 800 international students who originate from 60 countries. International Exchange Agreements are encouraged as the university is committed to global perspective and there are now exchange programs with 80 universities in 30 countries and regions.

 

The highly internationalized university understands the importance of challenges, providing useful knowledge and responding to the needs of society. With more than fifty years of history and tradition, the Yokohama National University strives to cover a variety of areas to ensure that students reach their ultimate potential.
